Back in 1975, we decided to purchase our first German Shepherd Dog. We had no intention of showing or breeding, our priority was to buy a quality dog with a good temperament.

We went to visit Richard and Ingrid Nitsch's Semiahmoo Kennels. They had a litter of puppies out of Grand Victor Harrigan. We looked at six little female puppies, one of which immediately caught our eye. She was the most outgoing and mischievious little pup, appropriately named Nobility, as best described her: difficult to define, unmistakeable when present. It was love at first sight. Ingrid said she was the second pick puppy.

The next time Ingrid saw Elsa, she was four months old. She encouraged us to come to her handling classes and, on seeing her, gave us every encouragement to show her.
Little did we know then, how much it would change our lives forever. As they say "... and the rest is History".
