Welcome

Glenavon German Shepherds was established in 1978. We are located in Coquitlam, British Columbia. We have three acres on the beautiful Minnekhada Ranch, idealy situated for exercising, working and training our dogs.

Over the years, consistancy and breed versatility has played a major role in our success, with many outstanding Champions, numerous dogs in the Canadian top ten tabulations, Canadian Register Of Merit titled sires and dams, obedience titles, Vancouver City Police Dogs, Search and Rescue Dogs in the States and Canada, German SV titled males and females... and last but not least, loving and protective family companions.

We are very proud of our sons, Wes R. and Phil, in that they shared the same love for our breed as we did, growing up with the dogs. Wes attended handling classes at an early age and became active in showing and breeding in 1990. He was joined shortly thereafter by Phil. They have been actively showing under the Glenavon prefix. We are very proud of their accomplishments.
